Drug & Alchohol Program
Oasis Counseling offers several options for those needing help in the area of Drug and Alcohol Addictions. We offer After Care, Outpatient Individual and family, Outpatient Group, Drug and Alcohol Evaluations and IOP.
Stephanie Zakrewski, LMHP, LADC

Dr. Mark Stortvedt and Stephanie Zakrzewski wrote and developed both the adult and adolescent IOP programs. Stephanie currently supervises the drug and alcohol programs and the provisionally licensed substance abuse providers. In addition to the supervision of the programs, Stephanie does drug and alcohol outpatient treatment, group, individual and family therapy for adults and adolescents, as well as chemical use evaluations. She also provides mental health therapy and services for those with co-occurring substance use and mental health issues.

A team member of the Journey Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, performs substance abuse evaluations, as well as team substance abuse evaluator for Comprehensive Family Assessments, and intensive family therapy for Child Preservation Program.
Julie Brungardt LMHP, LPC and a PLADC

"I have a passion for helping individuals who are struggling with the pain of drug and alcohol addiction."
Julie works in the adolescent IOP program and also does individual therapy for people with drug and alcohol addictions. As a therapist Julie has encountered many individuals who long to be free from the bondage of addiction. She has seen first hand the destructive cycle that can be created with addiction problems and will work with individuals and families to learn new ways to become healthy and whole.
Kirk Carmichael, PLMHP, PLADC

Kirk works in the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) for adults, performs drug and alcohol evaluations for adults and adolescents, and provides mental health and substance abuse counseling, along with family therapy.
AFTERCARE -- Our Outpatient Group (Aftercare) is offered to clients who have recently completed treatment in IOP, residential treatment or require treatment in a group environment. The primary purpose for our Outpatient Group is maintenance therapy. We have groups for adults and adolescents.
OUTPATIENT INDIVIDUAL -- Our Outpatient Individual program is available for adults and youth who have been assessed to have a substance abuse issue(s) which are best addressed in a one-on-one setting.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT (IOP) SERVICES FOR ADOLESCENTS AND ADULT -- Our Intensive Outpatient service (IOP) is a group program for adolescents and adults who require a higher level of care than Outpatient Individual for their substance abuse issue(s). IOP is 10 hours a week and is 12-weeks in duration and we have IOP groups for both adults and adolescents. The programs which focuses on relapse prevention, substance abuse education, development of coping strategies, etc.
Drug and Alcohol Evaluations: We offer Drug & Alcohol Evaluations in three distinct levels. The content covered in out outpatient programs are relapse prevention, the cost of use, relationships in recovery, codependency/enabling/family roles, values exercise, mental health issues, effective goal setting, and development of an aftercare plan.
Evidence Based Practices:Our programs use Evidence Based Practices". We use a 12-steps model, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
