Community Resources: Norfolk Art Center
The Norfolk Art Center is a non-profit organization and was founded in 1978 to enrich lives of Northest Nebraska citizens through visual arts.
Community activities, education classes, and performing arts happen at the art center. The center has education classes for adult and youth including special workshops and residency opportunities. A variety of artwork is displayed including sculpture, painting, drawing, fiber arts, beadwork, etc. Some adult classes have included art, dance, and photography courses. Cost of classes ranges depending on the class. The center holds events such as the Children's Day Festival, the Fine Arts Festival, and annual arts carnivals.
Admission into the art gallery is free. The art center is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
