Women’s Empowering Life Line, Inc.

The mission of Women’s Empowering Life Line, Inc. is to promote the overall health, well-being, independence, and capabilities of adult women by providing behavioral health treatment and transitional services. 

WELL Inc. helps women to recover from behavioral health disorders by using an individual approach that endorses the 12-Step model. 

Their Dual Disorder Program is a residential program that provides substance abuse and mental health treatment services for women with co-occuring disorders.  This program is generally longer term and works to stabilize symptoms and maintain recovery.  Services include therapy, structured treatment plans, medical management, and drug/alcohol screening. Criteria for the program: must be female of 19 years or older, must have two diagnoses, and must be willing to participate.

Their Intermediate Residential Program is a long term substance abuse for those who have not responded well to shorter term services.  Services include therapy, treatment and recovery focused services, individualized treatment planning, medication management, relapse prevention, etc. Criteria for the program: must be female of 19 years or older, must have two diagnoses, and must be willing to participate.

The Mental Health Respite Program at the WELL Inc. provides shelter 24/7 to clients needing a break from their current residential setting. Services include providing referrals to needed community services, and providing on-site access to periodic safety checks and monitoring. Criteria for admission is being a female of 19 year or older, and services are not intended for detox.

The WELL Inc. also has the Recovery Store  that is a resource for gifts and personal items for men and women which promotes and celebrates recovery.  Gifts can include greeting cards, books/materials, pocket cards, and key chains.
