Wesley Center Inc.

Wesley Center is a non-profit, interracial, non-restrictive and non-political Christian organization supported by First United Methodist Church. Wesley Center Inc. is a state licensed Childcare program that serves children ages six weeks through age twelve. The center’s first priority is to ensure the health and safety of your children while encouraging them to have fun, build relationships, and discover the world around them.

The center will accommodate children with special needs consistent with Americans with Disabilities Act, unless the child’s needs cannot be met by the facility.

Wesley Center Inc. is open year round, Monday through Friday 5:30am to 6:30pm.

The center also has an emergency child care shelter for children up to age 14.  They provide 24 hour a day care to children who are unable to live in their homes.  Children can stay in the crisis nursery for up to 30 days until a placement has been found.

The Wesley Center also has a Respite Center that can hold up to 8 children.  The services provide a break for caretakers or foster parents and the children from one another. They will provide all basic necessities for the children while they are in their care.

The center also provides visitation services through their Visitation Center to state wards, birth through age 18, and their families. It is open from 7:00am to 9:30pm, seven days a week. Staff will be present during the entire supervised visit.
