Early Development Network
Early Intervention can help you and your family support and promote your child’s development, within your family activities and community life.
Nebraska’s Early Development Network supports children birth through three years of age who have special developmental needs. The Nebraska Early Development network program “connects” family with early intervention services, such as occupational speech and physical therapy, to help infants and toddlers grow and develop while helping their family in the process. It is a voluntary program and does not discriminate on race, culture, religion, income level, or disability.
Families can call their local school district, their local services coordination agency, or the toll free Nebraska Child Find number at 1-888-806-6287.
Early Developmental Network serves families who live in the Norfolk School District. When parents have a concern about their child’s development, staff at Early Developmental Network will assist the families throughout the referral process. Services Coordination will continue if a child qualifies for Early Intervention Services. This may include counseling services, family training and in home visits, assisted technology, audiology services, health services, nursing and nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and vision services. The services are free.
Office hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexible hours by appointment.
